Solar Eclipse

Solar Eclipse

Hello Jordan Family,

Here’s another important fact, as we know many people are going to want to take photos and capture memories.

If you’re planning to use your cell phone camera to take pictures of the total solar eclipse happening on April 8, 2024, you need to be aware of the potential damage that the intense sunlight can cause to your device. Experts recommend not using your phone to capture images of the phenomenon as the lens of your camera, phone, or eye can focus the sunlight and cause permanent damage.

Instead, you should use the same filters found in solar eclipse glasses to take pictures of the partial solar eclipse. You can cut your glasses in half and tape one eyepiece over your smartphone camera lens.
